The 9th Heidelberg Health Forum made it very clear: The future of healthcare will not be determined by individual reform projects, technologies, or financing issues alone.
Discussions on digitization, statutory health insurance funding, hospital structures, and regional healthcare revealed a common thread:
•Innovation requires robust structures.
•Financing will only be sustainable if healthcare is approached in a more integrated manner.
•Regional cooperation requires clear responsibilities, shared processes, and the courage to adapt existing roles.
