We were thrilled to attend the ESC Digital & AI Summit 2025 on November 21-22 in Berlin. Two inspiring days full of innovation, valuable discussions and strong impulses for the future of cardiovascular diagnostics lie behind us.
Highlights from the ESC Digital & AI Summit 2025 in Berlin
Our contributions at the Summit
At stand E2 in hall B01, we showed how Exploris Health is advancing cardiovascular care with the AI-supported Cardio Explorer® - and were able to hold numerous discussions with interested doctors, researchers and industry experts.
A key highlight was our Industry Symposium:
"From arteries to algorithms: foundational models for coronary artery disease diagnosis and cardiovascular risk assessment",
which took place on Saturday, November 22 at 10:55 a.m. on the Digital Stage.
In this session, we explained how foundation models can overcome the limitations of traditional risk factor-based approaches - enabling more efficient, accurate and scalable diagnostics for coronary artery disease (CAD) across different patient groups.
New clinical findings presented
We presented new data from the recently published post-hoc analysis of our clinical trial (Remppis et al., 2025), including:
🔹 Highest discriminative ability in low and high prevalence cohorts
(AUC 0.878 / 0.868)
🔹 Reliable rule-out performance at 5% and 15% thresholds
(NPV >95%)
🔹 More precise risk stratification compared to established ESC scores
These results underline the strong potential of foundation models to support earlier and more reliable assessment of coronary artery disease.
Poster presentation
Alexander Büsser also presented our latest research results on the MPA_v3 model in his own poster session.
