Peter Ruff is a digital health entrepreneur. Peter founded Exploris with the aim of enabling a transformation in healthcare through AI-based diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. After training as an engineer, he started his career in a Swiss industrial group and became CIO of the group. He then made an MBO of an IT company and was co-owner of the Ruf Group. Peter was also a member of the Board of Directors of Zürcher Kantonalbank from 2011 - 2023.

After his academic education in Business Administration and Economics at University of Bayreuth, Germany with Focus on Healthcare Management, eHealth and Marketing, Manuel gained many years of experience in Strategy, Business Development and operational Leadership in the area of Health Data Analytics through his work for F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. In his last assignment at a German Single Family Office, Manuel contributed to the growth and supervision of the direct investment portfolio of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Manuel is in charge for defining and implementing our strategy and identifying and executing new business opportunities.

Wendy has many years of experience as a C-level personal assistant. She has previously worked in large healthcare companies, for the Clinic Director of Cardiac Surgery and the University Heart Center at the University Hospital Zurich as well as for the Clinic Director of Gynecological Oncology at the Zollikerberg Hospital. Her core competencies include the coordination of administrative tasks and team leadership, collaboration and management of projects as well as the organization of events. At our company, Wendy is responsible for the CEO Office and supports the management with administrative, organizational and marketing tasks, the definition of new processes and the organization of events.

Hans-Peter is leading the clinical development of the Heart Failure Explorer.

Winfried März supports Exploris in laboratory-related issues.

He has been involved in all facets of health economics for 20 years. Initially, he implemented operational concepts at statutory health insurance companies (as Managing Director at AOK and BKK until 2011). He was then an authorized signatory at the global HR consultancy Mercer and has been a partner at the auditing and consulting firm BDO since 2017. He has taught academically at the Technical University of Munich since 2007, received his first business administration professorship in 2011 and has been Professor of Health Management at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences since 2019. There he researches telemedicine, health and the internet, second medical opinions and current (corporate) healthcare policy. Volker Nürnberg is a member of various associations and supervisory boards and is one of the most sought-after speakers and authors on health topics in Germany.

At the 2018 IFAS Innovation Challenge, Exploris won second prize for Cardio Explorer, which detects narrowing in the heart arteries with greater accuracy than other routines available in primary care. This improves patient triage in primary care, optimizes referrals for further testing, and improves the healthcare delivery process.

In 2018, Exploris won the Swiss Biolabs Challenge. The innovative Cardio Explorer heart test offers unprecedented accuracy in detecting coronary artery disease in primary care.
